TPRS 201 – TPRS Shift – “Shifting Mindsets while Strengthening Skills”

Prerequisite: TPRS 101 (You may be eligible for an exemption. Reach out to the instructor, Craig Sheehy -craig@tprsbooks.com- to find out.)

The TPRS Shift is a 15 week course (meeting once per week for 60-90 minutes) designed to help you gain the skills and mindsets of an effective TPRS teacher by:

• articulating and cultivating 15 important communication-based teaching mindsets
• modeling, coaching and improving basic skills with weekly mentoring and
• finding your TPRS style in the classroom.

This course will be offered on Tuesdays beginning on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 and going for 15 weeks with one week off for Spring Break. The course will end on April 29, 2025. The time of the class will be from 4-5:30pm Pacific time.

*A minimum number of participants is required for the class to take place. If the class is canceled, an asynchronous option with live coaching will be made available.

*This course is also eligible for Graduate Level Credit that can be used to re-certify or move over on the pay scale.
